- Configure, test, and maintain the infrastructure including servers, applications, and network infrastructure
- Support/maintain the hardware, software, and communication components of the network including LAN/WAN communications equipment and circuits
- Configure/troubleshoot web services (IIS) and network TCP/IP applications
- Manage the IT asset inventory and provide inventory reports on a regular basis
- Monitor and report application licenses, hardware inventory, server load balancing, and disk space
- Maintain the organization's remote access technology
- Create/maintain documentation related to the network, server, and application infrastructures
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance
- Develop incident reports to keep management informed of systems downtime or service interruptions
- Facilitate resolution to Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues that pertain to systems or services under management including client software applications
- Provide training for the Network Support Specialist positions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (equivalent experience acceptable)
- 4 years of hands-on experience in administering and supporting network and server-based systems, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security with the following technologies:
- Interactive Intelligence VoIP or equivalent product
- Citrix Presentation and RSA SecurID appliance
- Microsoft technologies including Windows Server 2008, IIS Web Applications, Active Directory, and Exchange 2007/2010
- VMware virtual technology or equivalent product
- Certifications: MCSE, CCNA preferred
