Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, an award-winning, minority female-owned federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for an Azure Migration Specialist to join our team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience to plan, implement and streamline migration of applications from on-premises to Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
Minimum Required Qualifications:- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience working in Information Technology
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Certified as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- 3 years of experience performing full migration from on-premises to Azure cloud environment
- Experience in managing services for .Net/Windows, Java/WebSphere, and Red hat/Linux Servers on Azure.
- Define and document best practices and strategies for infrastructure maintenance.
- Experience in performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Design Azure solutions and create architecture, configuration and setup artifacts.
- Highly proficient ability to handle significant responsibility, leadership, and accountability while executing complex assignments.
- Strong customer service/client facing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Development experience in Python, .NET or Java.
- Work location: Mclean Office. Temporarily remote due to Covid precautions
- Limited travel to D.C. area is expected.
