BARTENDER Main Duties:

- Prepare and Serve Beverages:

Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes or customer preferences.

Ensure proper portioning and presentation of drinks.

Maintain a Clean and Organized Bar:

- Keep the bar area, tools, and glassware clean and sanitized.

Stock and restock bar supplies, garnishes, and ingredients.

- Customer Interaction and Service:

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Take drink orders, provide recommendations, and answer customer questions.

- Cash Handling and Order Management:

Accurately process customer payments, including cash and credit cards.

- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff for timely delivery of drink orders.

- Monitor Alcohol Consumption:

Ensure compliance with local alcohol service laws by checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated patrons.

Promote responsible alcohol consumption.

- Inventory Management:

Track and report bar inventory, including alcohol, mixers, and other supplies.

Assist in ordering and managing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

- Knowledge of POS systems

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

HOST Main Duties:

- Greeting Guests:

Welcome guests warmly upon arrival.

Provide a friendly and professional first impression of the restaurant.

- Seating Arrangements:

Escort guests to their tables based on reservation details or table availability.

Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover and ensure even distribution of guests among servers.

- Reservation Management:

Handle phone and online reservations.

Confirm bookings, accommodate special requests, and update the reservation system as needed.

- Coordinating Waitlists:

Manage the waitlist during busy periods.

Provide accurate wait-time estimates to guests and ensure they are seated in order.

- Customer Service:

Respond to guest inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, or special events.

Handle minor guest complaints or direct them to a manager when necessary.
