Description We are searching for a meticulous Benefits Administrator to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia, 20036-1202, United States. In this role, you will be in charge of overseeing the maintenance of collective bargaining agreements, reviewing contracts with local unions and employers, and managing the Fund’s delinquency system and cash contributions. You will also be expected to answer inquiries from participants and resolve any problems or issues that may arise.Responsibilities: Oversee the Fund’s delinquency system, tracking delinquent accounts and sending out delinquency and discrepancy notices. Reconcile monthly eligibility credit and total deposits with the cash contribution report. Monitor, post, and balance all incoming contributions to the Health and Welfare Fund. Receive daily reports from the bank and mail, depositing all contributions into the Health and Welfare Fund. Post daily remittance data to the online computer database and mail monthly remittance reports and enrollment cards. Adjust accounts, reconciling employer and employee credits. Collaborate with the Auditing Department and legal counsel to track and post audit bills and payments. Process requests for various reports and labels and coordinate the receipt of copies of local union collective bargaining agreements. Maintain a database of rates, prepare reports on trend increases, and support Fund employers and local unions with appropriate data to facilitate contract negotiations. Collaborate with legal advisers to ensure that collective bargaining agreements comply with laws and policies, keeping them updated on delinquent accounts.
