Description Join a notable private equity firm as Chief of Staff in their Washington, DC office. Are you versatile, organized, and accustomed to a fast-paced work environment? This role bridges strategic leadership and critical administrative support, making it ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Executive Support:
Act as the primary point of contact for two executives - managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and prioritizing commitments
Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, and logistics for meetings, presentations, and events
Prepare executive correspondence, presentations, and briefing materials ahead of internal and external engagements
Serve as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders to maintain seamless communication
Strategic Coordination:
Support executives in tracking progress against organizational goals and strategic initiatives
Conduct research and develop reports, memos, and presentations to facilitate decision-making
Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution of priorities
Monitor key projects, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring accountability across departments
Operations and Communication:
Coordinate cross-functional activities and meetings, ensuring clarity of objectives and follow-up on actionable items
Partner with executives to maintain a pulse on organizational culture and morale, identifying opportunities for improvement
Lead and manage efforts around team-building events, leadership retreats, and staff engagement initiatives
Provide mentorship and leadership to administrative staff as necessary
Requirements
Qualifications
5+ years of Executive Assistant and/or Chief of Staff work experience
Skilled with managing complex travel and event arrangements
Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
Prior experience supporting Financial Services industry executives (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Concur (or other expense tracking software)
