The conduit between the President and the public during national crises is the National Public Warning System (NPWS), the most resilient and capable in a portfolio of systems providing emergency warning and alert notifications to the public. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is entrusted with this system and the dissemination of Emergency Action Notifications (EANs), via Primary Entry Points (PEPs), by broadcast, cable, satellite, wireline, radio, and television channels. CACI is seeking a proactive Construction Analyst to join our effort to modernize PEP's which are key components in ensuring the success of this critical mission.

Primary Purpose:The Construction Analyst will provide project management support to the NWPS Modernization Task Order Lead and Construction Manager in managing all fabrication, preparations, construction drawings/IFC, permitting, surveys, onsite contractor work, quality-control and other duties, as necessary during the execution of all NPWS/PEP Modernization projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Produce and update modernization Project Schedules Weekly
  • Coordinate Project Reviews to assess status and completion of key project actions.
  • Collect, track and report Action Items
  • Produce Weekly Status Reports
  • Maintain SharePoint File Structure
  • Develop tools, templates, processes, and procedures
  • Schedule, facilitate and report Design Reviews
  • Develop SOWs, quotes, and documents for RFPs
  • Receive, review, process, and track RFIs and Change Orders
  • Receive, process and track Submittals
  • Document Lessons Learned
  • Assist Modernization Manager with BOM pricing and orders
  • Assist Modernization Manager with issue resolutions
  • Manage special projects during construction phase
  • Track and pay invoices from various vendors
  • Provide travel support to sites for ESA, Design Site Visits, Kickoffs, Inspections
  • Assist during review of site drawings by coordinating the review and facilitating the meeting.
  • Other construction related support duties as requested.

You'll Bring These Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • Understanding of customary commercial construction project contract terms, conditions and administration, construction drawings and related documents
  • Technical understanding of commercial construction including building codes, trade sequencing, and best building practices
  • Computer Proficiencies in Microsoft tools including: Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • 2 yrs. Experience with management of construction related projects
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to manage shifting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers positively and effectively
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable performance required
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
