Key Responsibilities:Perform due diligence, including financial analysis & risk assessments in support of proposed transactions
Identify, cultivate, perform diligence, value, structure and negotiate deals across Danaher’s platforms
Monitor competitive landscape to identify and prioritize opportunities, including tracking public companies and interacting with investment bankers and other sources of deal opportunities
Support business opportunities from all Danaher segments
Maintain a deal funnel of transaction opportunities
Responsible for synthesizing and collating due diligence questions from various internal stakeholders
Reviewing and auditing financial models for transactions
Execute transactions including process management, structuring, negotiations, and closing deals
Advise and drive deal teams of subject matter experts from Corporate and operating companies to complete required work and reach investment recommendations
Manage cross-functional due diligence teams with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
Ensure effective management of post-closing deal terms and hand-off to integration teams

Be willing to travel as required, including internationally and occasionally on limited notice
Education:5+ years work experience, including 2+ years' M&A deal experience at top-tier corporate development group, PE or law firm, or investment bank
Bachelor's degree required, and MBA or JD preferred
Substantial life sciences experience, either via work experience or scientific / technical education, strongly preferred
Work experience in a 2nd discipline, e.g. finance diligence, acct/finance, strategy, etc. strongly preferred
Experience with international deals, venture capital deals, or continuous improvement cultures a plus
