Position: Enterprise Architect (CASP, CISA, CISM, CISSP)

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 10+ months

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: START DATE: February 14, 2022END DATE: December 31, 2022

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:

Full-time remote applicants will be considered. Limited travel is expected.

Responsibilities The IT Governance, Information Security & Outreach section of the Division of S&R seeks the services of a Contractor to serve as a senior enterprise architect and work alongside section team members related to the Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess an active United States Government National Security Secret clearance or higher-level clearance or a Tier 4 background investigation (preferred)
  • Must be able to successfully complete a Tier 4 background investigation
  • Possess a Master’s degree in cybersecurity or related field or at least 8 years’ experience creating cybersecurity strategy in large organizations
  • Possess experience implementing security architecture strategies including Data at Rest Encryption, Multi-factor Authentication, and Zero Trust Architecture
  • Possess experience with cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud strategy, migration, and security strategies, especially GovCloud
  • Possess experience with network security, segmentation, micro-segmentation strategy, design, and implementation
  • Possess experience working with IT security strategy in government (preferred)
  • Possess cyber security certifications (i.e., CASP, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
  • Possess strong oral and written communication skills
Per Executive Order, all Federal contractors must demonstrate proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.

EA Consultant shall:
  • Enhance S&R’s understanding of the Cybersecurity Executive Order including the Zero Trust Architecture and implications to the S&R business line
  • Identify and recommend actionable approaches for adoption of the Cybersecurity Executive Order requirements
  • Assist in preparing and conducting security briefings to leadership and stakeholders
  • Review and provide recommendations to enhance S&R strategic architecture and security roadmap and plans to further protect S&R information and systems
  • Review and recommend changes to architecture and information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Participates in, and conducts, special studies and projects relating to architecture and security
