- Possess an active United States Government National Security Secret clearance or higher-level clearance or a Tier 4 background investigation (preferred)
- Must be able to successfully complete a Tier 4 background investigation
- Possess a Master’s degree in cybersecurity or related field or at least 8 years’ experience creating cybersecurity strategy in large organizations
- Possess experience implementing security architecture strategies including Data at Rest Encryption, Multi-factor Authentication, and Zero Trust Architecture
- Possess experience with cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud strategy, migration, and security strategies, especially GovCloud
- Possess experience with network security, segmentation, micro-segmentation strategy, design, and implementation
- Possess experience working with IT security strategy in government (preferred)
- Possess cyber security certifications (i.e., CASP, CISA, CISM, CISSP)
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Enhance S&R’s understanding of the Cybersecurity Executive Order including the Zero Trust Architecture and implications to the S&R business line
- Identify and recommend actionable approaches for adoption of the Cybersecurity Executive Order requirements
- Assist in preparing and conducting security briefings to leadership and stakeholders
- Review and provide recommendations to enhance S&R strategic architecture and security roadmap and plans to further protect S&R information and systems
- Review and recommend changes to architecture and information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
- Participates in, and conducts, special studies and projects relating to architecture and security
