Data Analyst

Description:Job Description:The Enterprise Risk Analytics organization is looking for a detail-oriented business analyst with deep experience in data analysis and testing to support transition of data source from its current data warehouse to another target state warehouse. The candidate should be comfortable liaising with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, as well as facilitating walkthroughs of deliverables with technology partners/development team. The candidate should have demonstrated expertise reviewing SQL scripts, capturing, and translating requirements and creating source-to-target mapping documents. The candidate will be expected to conduct data profiling, capture differences between current and target state sources, document test cases and perform user acceptance testing.Job Responsibilities:-Review SQL/R/Python scripts to document requirements-Conduct data profiling to identify data differences between current and target state database-Facilitate walkthroughs of deliverables with business and technology partnersEducation/Experience:-Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. Masters degree preferred.-8-10 years experience required-Demonstrated experience conducting business analysis in a data warehouse environment required-Demonstrated experience creating source to target mapping documents required-Basic knowledge of programming languages required (Proficiency in SQL required, knowledge of SAS, Python or R preferred)-Experience using relational databases required-Strong data analysis skill and experience developing requirements documentation for technology team required-Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or MicroStrategy preferred-Must be self-starter and detail oriented-Must have strong verbal and oral communication skills-Knowledge of mortgage industry a plus
