Data Architect- (Secret Required)

As we continue to grow in the support of our government customers, we are looking for driven and innovative individuals to join our team.IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Data Architect to support our U.S. Air Force program.Location: Hybrid work environment. 2-3 days at Pentagon, and other days telework.

• Support harmonization of data standards and dictionaries through Community of Interest coordination, including vocabularies, roles and permissions, Authoritative Data Source, and development of Data Reference Models in defining requirements for business and IT solutions
• Assess disparate data sets; curate and transform data for analysis; and develop visualizations for decision-making, support, and insight
• Lead analysis and decomposition of Information Architecture (IA) and create vocabularies, taxonomies and ontologies
• Define relationship between IAs and develop Conceptual Model and DoDAF compliant DIV-1
• Advise on the varied views of the Zachman Framework for enterprise architecture views relative to data, to include scope/contextual view, business model/conceptual view, enterprise/logical data model, physical data model, and actual databases.
• Assist in analyzing architectures for all types of IT capabilities, to include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), web services and Government products

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience working with Air Force/DoD and familiarity with DoDAF Enterprise Architecture approach
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data modeling
• 3+ years of experience building dashboards. From exiting systems or from scratch.
• Experience conducting analysis and decomposition of IAs
• Familiarity with standardized data vocabularies, taxonomies and ontologies
• Experience synergizing data solutions with IT requirements management products, for new initiatives, to include data modeling
• Experience in full lifecycle Software Engineering to include Systems Architecture and/or Data Architecture
• Experience with BI Tools (e.g., Oracle BI, MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., Hue, Zeppelin, AWS EMR, Databricks); Tableau a plus
• Understanding of DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
• Understanding of enterprise architecture relative to data, to include scope/contextual view, business model/conceptual view, enterprise/logical data model, physical data model, and actual databases
• Experience with cloud computing a plus
