Data Center Lead

DescriptionSAIC is seeking two Data Center Leads to join in our team’s effort to win a new Department of Veteran Affairs' program. This role is contingent on award of program to SAIC.Data Center Lead with a minimum of 15 years of experience and training leading the design, configuration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, of data center hardware and software including, but not limited to: Nutanix Hypervisor; VMware; Windows servers; patching; and Veritas NetBackup system. Provides key support for Disaster Recovery (DR) Exercises and supports Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) Audits.ORLinux Red Hat; patching; satellite; and Ansible. Provides key support for Disaster Recovery (DR) Exercises and supports Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) Audits.QualificationsRequired Certifications:

ITIL 4+ Foundation Certification and MCA Microsoft Azure Admin - prior to onboarding

Nutanix Certified Associate (NCA): Within 6 months of onboarding

VMware Certified Implementation Expert (VCIX): Within 6 months of onboarding

OR

ITIL 4+ Foundation Certification

MCA Microsoft Azure Admin

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree Info Systems/Relevant Field – Preferred, and 15 years related experience.Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance based on Department of Veteran Affairs regulations.Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
