Database Modeler

10+ Years of experience working as a Database Modeler 2+ years of experience working in Azure Cloud platform and Cloud Database with exposure to Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Postgres and Mongo DB Microsoft Azure certifications are a big plus; Experience with data transformation tools Databricks, Snowflake, or similar preferred. Advanced data modeling and transformation scripting experience including Microsoft SQL Hands-on experience with data modeling tools. Lead and manage data modeling efforts for a new Azure data and analytics platform Lead the data modeling activities including Analyzing and translating business requirements into conceptual and fully detailed logical data models Manage the effort to define data modeling, data engineering and build a backlog Creating logical data domains and models for data from existing systems with close attention paid to scale and future extensibility for a rapidly growing business Evaluating physical data models to ensure they align to the corresponding logical data models Drive the creation of common and consistent enterprise dimensions and metrics throughout the Azure data and analytics platform Work with data governance and quality teams to incorporate processes into models Hands on experience with shell scripting , migrating files from one server to another , implementing security while sharing files Hands on experience in implementing security when the data migration is in-transit and at rest
