Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group and a Non-Profit located in Washington, DC have together to find a

Database Reporting Analyst. This is a direct hire role with a hybrid work schedule (2 days/week onsite). They offer a $100 per month technology reimbursement to offset the cost of working remote. The Analyst will develop metrics and reports; analyze reports and trends to provide actionable insight to the staff; work with partners to develop specifications; develop test plans and coordinate/conduct testing; ensure the optimization of its business applications; provide recommendations on system improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Write T-SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures to extract data, generate reports, and support deliverables
  • Build/deploy data visualizations including SSRS and Tableau reports
  • Obtain requirements from staff using industry-standard techniques (interviews, document review, business flow analysis, use cases/user stories, and flowcharts)
  • Create/review project specifications for technical and functional accuracy
  • Investigate/resolve issues with the AMS or integration with other SAAS systems (software bugs, exception handling, user error, automated process failures, etc.)

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or other degree emphasizing Business Analysis preferred
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Server (logical data modeling and command of T-SQL preferred)
  • Experience developing and deploying SSRS reports
  • Experience developing and deploying Tableau visualizations
  • Experience with Association Management System (AMS) (NetForum preferred) and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (Salesforce preferred)
  • Certifications: Microsoft preferred
  • Work Status: due to government requirements, only US Citizens will be considered for this role
