Job Title: Mid-Level Electrical Engineer - Columbia Class Submarine ProgramJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of the Columbia Class Submarine's integrated power system. This role involves working directly with the shipbuilder to identify, assemble, manage, direct, and coordinate all resources required for the design, construction, testing, and evaluation of the future submarine's power system. This critical position supports the Navy's mission to ensure dominance over the seas.In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Supporting the design and development of the Integrated Power System, including the generation and distribution of all electrical power, and the controlling systems for all components.
Working closely with Naval Reactors, PMS 397, the shipbuilder, and component vendors to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
Providing support to our compatibility test facility in Philadelphia, PA, where the components are undergoing testing.
