Our client, a financial institution that provides the United States with a safe, flexible and stable monetary and financial system, is looking for an

Enterprise Architecture Consultant

to work on a project based in

Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will provide enterprise architecture support to evaluate, develop, implement the Enterprise Architecture program. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be

U.S. Citizens .

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the creation of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies
  • Works with business relations, delivery team leads, and business leaders, when needed, on roadmaps, principles, standards, and best practices
  • Helps develop the architectural governance processes for the team
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and facilitation of the architecture review board
  • Aggregates the current enterprise continuum of knowledge (applications, infrastructure, capabilities, people, and data,) and makes technology/process recommendations
  • Advises on or leads architectural reviews and evaluations
  • Provides a weekly status report to the COR documenting concerns, issues, risks, and progress of assigned work

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, Agile, and infrastructure planning and operations
  • Ability to drive consensus in complex matters involving diverse stakeholders where there may be varying points of view
  • Simultaneously work on several complex assignments requiring analysis of intricately complex variables
  • Excellent organizational, project management and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated experience in data architecture, modeling, integration, design, and quality engineering to implement various data strategy components
  • Experience with information security, privacy, and risk assessment standards including FISMA, SOX, FedRAMP, etc. is preferred
