Job Description As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise team members on methods and processes for managing several projects and/or products to meet organizational goals. In this role, you will provide advanced analytical support to make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities. You will develop processes to enhance coordination with other teams and ensure support of the portfolios. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe Enterprise Planning - Portfolio Management - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:Support Portfolio planning and manage engagement with key stakeholders across business, technology, finance, strategy and other supporting groups, with goal of driving achievement of key deliveries in support of Fannie Mae’s Strategic Plan.
Design systematic approach, through direct engagement with stakeholders, to support administration of Portfolio and ; Program Management Policy and Standard for the Enterprise.
Support Capacity Based Planning initiative including the development of performance snapshots, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and executive reporting for senior management.
Develop compelling presentation materials for executive audiences, including synthesis of complex and disparate information into concise insights and recommendations.
Provide complex analysis of data and information gathered for reports to be presented to internal and/or external stakeholders.
Monitor lean governance compliance and manage first line operational risk.
Assess current and future statetooling.
Provide ad hoc support for Strategy Enablement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAMMinimum Required Experiences6 years of related experience such as Portfolio Management or Strategic Enablement
Desired ExperiencesBachelor degree or equivalent
SkillsExperience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Experience helping an organization to plan and manage change in effort to meet strategic objectives
Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis, data discovery, and decision-making with the use of relevant software such as Crystal Reports, Excel, or SSRS
Business Insight skills including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Relationship Management skills including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
Communication skills including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
Performance Measurement skills including evaluating programs, evaluating vendors, and defining and measuring KPIs
Risk Assessment and Management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
ToolsSkilled in Microsoft Teams
Skilled in Excel and Powerpoint
Skilled in Microsoft PowerSuite
Experience using JIRA
Experience using SharePoint
