Estimator for Restoration Company in Beltsville MD

Our Restoration Company has provided quality clean up and restoration to homes and businesses damaged by water, mold and fire.

Estimator will inspect damaged property, evaluate conditions, and prepare an estimate (utilizing Xactimate Estimating software) to restore the property to a pre-loss condition. Collaboration with the property owner and insurance claims adjuster will enable this person to successfully estimate the damages and obtain payment approval from the insurance carrier, and authorization to complete the restoration from the property owner. This individual will develop and maintain a business relationship with insurance adjusters and general contractors while maintaining positive communication with the customer. You will serve as the primary liaison between all involved and coordinate daily work for the crew chiefs and technicians.

Highly qualified candidates will have a proven track record in customer service, restoration/construction management, sales, time management and leadership. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are a must.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2years experience in estimating in the field of property damage restoration preferred.

Must have excellent time management and organizational skills, as all work requires a sense of urgency.

Proficient in the use of Xactimate, and Windows applications preferred.

Self Starter with excellent follow-through and problem solving skills

Good work ethic with stable history
