Note: 3 days onsite, 3 days remote 11-15 years of experience. Possesses expert knowledge of the MS SQL environment with particular emphasis on database administration optimization, analysis, design, and implementation of ETL processes The client has developed an in-house licensing system to manage occupational and professional licensing intake, issuance, and reporting. The contractor will be responsible for database support and management of the backend Microsoft SQL Server DBMS.
Responsibilities:- Stand up, deploy and maintain the MS SQL Server database environment
- Develop ETL processes to support transmission of data to third party systems
- Provide data related analysis including ad hoc queries for business units
- Monitor database environment to ensure DBMS is running efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- 11-15 yrs. database design, documentation, and coding
- Experience to include tasks such as data migration, data replication, user administration, backup and recovery and performance tuning
- 11-15 yrs. SQL experience
- 11-15 yrs. designing and implementing reports and report interfaces
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: Java, Python, PERL, PowerShell, VBS, Eclipse, Postgres, Jenkins on a Windows platforms.
- SQL Server Management Studio experience
- SSRS and SSIS experience is preferred
- Develop ETL processes to support transmission of data to third party systems
- Experience creating ad hoc queries for business units
