Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract events and partnerships
Manage all aspects of event planning and execution
Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups
Coordinate with vendors, caterers, and service providers
Handle event scheduling, contracts, and logistics
Oversee on-site event operations and staff
Track metrics and prepare performance reports
Requirements:
2+ years experience in event marketing, management, or related field
Proven track record of successful event planning and execution
Strong marketing and social media skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Availability for flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Experience with event budgeting and vendor management
Knowledge of DC metro area event landscape preferred
