Experienced Cleared Data Analyst

Job Family :Data Science ConsultingTravel Required :Up to 10%Clearance Required :Active Top Secret (TS)What You Will Do :Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will collect, transform, integrate, and analyze data to identify trends, assess performance, develop visualizations in support of organizational and mission goals, and support decision-making for information technology programs within the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Accessing data sources, establishing data connections, and pre-processing data for analysis

Defining data requirements and ensuring storage, availability, and coherence of electronically stored information meets the organization's needs

Designing data modeling processes, creating algorithms and predictive models, and performing ad hoc/exploratory data analysis to support data-driven decision making, including use of advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling and machine learning

Drive data analytic workstream activities involving the identification of key indicators for compliance and effective performance critical to mission/business success

Manipulating large data sets, data mining, and structuring of raw data using open sources tools such as R, Python to formulate or recognize patterns to generate new information and unlock information and insights that help the organization better manage risks

Designing and developing data visualizations and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights and BI

Utilizing analytics tools for data visualization and business intelligence (BI), such as Tableau and Power BI

Delivery of client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development

What You Will Need :

Active Top Secret Clearance

B.S. or B.A. in a quantitative, computational discipline or business degree and 5+ years of data analytical professional experience – OR-

M.S./M.A. degree in a quantitative and/or computational discipline and 3+ years of relevant professional experience

High level of proficiency in data analytic tools such as R, Python and data visualization tools

Prior experience with statistical modeling

Intermediate proficiency in dashboard development

Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical background

Strong communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong problem-solving skills

What Would Be Nice To Have :

5+ years of relevant professional experience -OR- 3+ years of relevant professional experience with a relevant M.S./M.A. degree

Prior experience with statistical modeling around accruals or other federal financial/budgetary process areas

Demonstrated experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)

Prior experience supporting federal finance organizations

Proficiency in PowerBI

Proficiency in Excel
