Full-Time Assistant – French Immersion Daycare

Galipette French Immersion Home Daycare is a licensed home-based childcare program located in McLean, Virginia. We offer a warm, nurturing, and fully French-speaking environment for children ages 16 months to 4 years. Our program focuses on early childhood development through play, structure, and full language immersion.

We are hiring a local French-speaking daycare assistant.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Care for and supervise children ages 16 months to 4 years

Support daily routines including snacks, meals, diapering/potty training, nap time, and indoor/outdoor play

Lead and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities conducted entirely in French

Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment

Encourage developmental growth and language acquisition through play and structured activities

Qualifications:

Fluent in French (native speaker preferred)

Experience working with young children (daycare, preschool, nannying, or similar)

Warm, responsible, and patient demeanor

Authorized to work in the United States

CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain)

Must pass all required background checks and health screenings (Fairfax County compliance)
