Description We are searching for a meticulous and experienced Sr. Grant Specialist to join our Full-Time Engagement Practice in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. As a Sr. Grants Specialist, you will manage grant contracts, ensure compliance with regulatory authorities, and maintain accurate documentation. This role offers a long-term employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Systematically manage grant contracts, including Request for Proposals (RFPs). Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and funding authority requirements by meticulously preparing and gathering contract documentation. Independently manage and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision, demonstrating superior organizational skills. Maintain open and effective communication lines within the team, showcasing strong analytical and communication skills. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and contribute positively to the team environment. Utilize various accounting software like SAP, with a willingness to undergo training if necessary. Monitor and take appropriate actions on customer accounts. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Requirements Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Grant/Contracts Expert Demonstrable knowledge of RFP Requirements is essential. Proficiency in Grant Management is necessary for this role. Familiarity with Federal Grant and Federal Funding procedures is required. Applicants must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is a must. Applicants must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
