Hands on Engineering Manager (NonProfit)

A nationally recognized, Mission Oriented, Tech Driven NonProfit is creating a multi-functional platform that educates the public on sexual assault and helps victims navigate support systems. They are looking for a Lead/Manager who is passionate about this mission to come in and guide the team in their pursuit of a safer world FOR ALL! This person can be a prior Senior Engineer looking to take that next step in their career, or a Lead Engineer with prior experience as well. They are a super cutting edge and dynamic organization, leveraging the latest and greatest technologies to build a platform that is scalable and easily accessible. This team works with Java, Spring, Scala, React/Vue REST, MySQL, and AWS - but it is important to note that someone with a strong foundation and a similar skillset need not have all of the above criteria. • 5+ years of professional development experience
• Java
• Spring Boot
• MySQL or SQL

• Prior Leadership/Management experience
• React/Vue/Angular
• AWS Experience
• EC2, S3, Lambda
• CI/CD with Jenkins
• Twilio (for messaging)
• Scala/big data experience

• Hands on coding and team collaboration
