House Manager

We are seeking a House Manager to manage daily activities to ensure the family is able to operate as smoothly as possible. The position will be on-site daily in Leesburg, VA; 20 hours per week.

Requirements:

Speak English

Have reliable transportation

Able to lift 10 pounds

No prior criminal history

Responsibilities include:

Ensure house is well-maintained at all times

Laundering and putting away clothing

Cleaning remaining dishes in sink

Loading/emptying dishwasher

Clean and refill coffee machines with water

Shopping for food, supplies, requested items

Organize and declutter

Removal of expired foods from refrigerator/pantry

Keeping linen closet tidy

Bring in mail daily

Water plants

Put up/take down holiday décor

Contact and meet with vendors when appliances aren’t working properly

Ensure lights/utilities are off in rooms that are not being used

Seasonal needs: outdoor furniture and pool area maintenance

Run errands, as needed

Restocking items, as needed

Be proactive; walk the house/grounds and see what needs to be done

Salary commensurate with experience
