The Incident Management Content fixer-6 month Assignment, Benefits Eligible is responsible for resolving prioritized curriculum incidents across a variety of courses for grades K through 12 by developing & correcting content, collaborating with SMEs on content accuracy, processes, and standards, and executing editorial standards and protocol for all core, offline, and elective courses (lessons, assessments, multimedia, and ancillary materials).This is a 6 month Assignment and Benefits Eligible.Core Tasks and Responsibilities:

Resolve prioritized incidents in K-12 curriculum for both online and offline formats;

Identify innovative strategies to meet the curricular & technology demands of the program;

Demonstrate knowledge of state and national curriculum and NSQ standards;

Manage course development, which consists of course maps, learning objectives, learning objects and activities to meet specific state and/or national standards;

Works to design visually appealing interactive educational products.

Solves a variety of complex problems; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

Understand the capabilities/limitations of the available authoring and development tools to help inform design solutions and the application of instructional strategies

Provide expertise on editorial style, standards, and processes.

Key Relationships:

Works closely with Global Incident Management and Product delivery in support of high-quality K-12 virtual learning experiences.

Work with agile team members to develop a comprehensive and consistent academic program;

Work with software development team to define and refine the curriculum development system’s requirements;

Proposes and implements new ways of working or procedures within own area

Maintains effective relationships within own and related areas

Training/Competencies:

Performs complex analyses and makes standard and non-standard decisions and/or recommendations with minimal supervision

Helps to ensure the quality of the tasks and advice provided by self and others.

Demonstrates understanding of how own area integrates within the wider Line of Business or Enabling Function.

Solves problems by identifying and selecting solutions using acquired technical expertise.

Must be capable of developing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.

Must be comfortable with ambiguity and pivoting priorities- and help others be comfortable as well.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years curriculum development experience, including experience creating digital products

Experience in project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment

Thorough understanding of information architecture principles and practices

Basic HTML and web skills essential. ● Knowledge of Microsoft and Google business applications preferred.

Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Educational Management Systems, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred. Familiarity with Agile principles.

The anticipated starting salary range for Colorado/New York/California/Washington State-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $58,000-$60,000.
