Independent Contractor Needed – Construction Site Monitor with Drone

We’re seeking a self-motivated, drone-capable individual to help us monitor progress at utility and electrical construction sites across DC and parts of VA. This is a contract position ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and interacting with construction crews.

Responsibilities:

Visit assigned construction sites across DC and Parts of VA (some travel required)

Take high-quality drone photos and ground-level images

Complete a brief site assessment report (we’ll provide the format)

Talk with on-site crew members to gauge project progress

Provide a clear judgment on whether the project appears on schedule or delay

Requirements:

Drone + competent operation skills (FAA Part 107 license a plus)

Tech-savvy enough to upload photos and complete a simple report

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Comfortable walking around active job sites and talking to contractors

Start Date: On or around June 1, 2025

This is a flexible, independent contractor role with potential for long-term work. We'll keep you apprised of job sites as they become available.
