Job Title: Full Stack Developer W2/C2C Contract Duration: 2 Years Work Visa Status: (US Citizens, Green Card or H1B Visa Transfers, OPT EAD, GC EAD, H4 EAD). Location: Remote (Herndon or DC) (The work location is 100% remote for now and we will meet with the team and clients in our Herndon office or DC as needed if the candidates are local. We are open to full remote positions as long as candidates can support the program between the core hours 9:00am-4:00pm EST time. ) Work Visa Status: All okay, will need to be your W2 (US Citizens, Green Card or H1B Visa Transfers). All candidates must have resided in the US for the past 3 consecutive years. For non-US citizens, they should not have travelled more than 30 consecutive days outside of the US to get their public trust.) Required Skills: 7 - 10 years of full-lifecycle application development experience and at least 3 years of experience using the technologies listed below and AWS cloud platform 5+ years of experience using Agile, DevSecOps, Test driven development, and other lean methodologies. Must have experience in using Agile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelines. Extensive hands-on experience in JavaScript (React.js, Node.js, modern JavaScript libraries - ES6 - 2015 and later versions), API development (GraphQL/RESTful), messaging (kafka, AWS kinesis or others), serverless application development using AWS Lambda, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS services (Lambda, S3, Dynamo, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift and several others) Experience developing cloud native solutions according to industry best practices Use industry best practices for source code management in Git as if it were open source Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and comprehend technical details clearly. Must be able to demonstrate product demos to users and stakeholders, collect feedback and implement improvements.
