Lead WebSphere Admin Washington DCJob Description:Resource will be supporting the DX portfolio: Tools and Technologies include:Redhat Ansible Command line and Tower, Visual Studio Code, MyEclipse, IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.0/8.5/9.0, IBM HTTP Server 8.0/9.0, IBM MQ Series, Wily Introscope, DB2 Client, Pega, IBM MQ 8.0, IBM B2B,IBM WebSeal 7.0, IBM EIAM Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory, Crucible, Sonar, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Apache Tomcat, Python, Terraform, AWS Cloud, AIX Unix, Redhat Linux, Pega, IBM DataPower, APIM, App Dynamic.• 8-10 years minimum Experience• Platform engineering services to analyze, develop and implement an infrastructure strategy for existing Test environments for midrange and mainframe platforms. These environments comprise of Unit, Integration, Systems and Acceptance Test Production.o Engineer and implement End to End Automation of Infrastructure to provision new environments leveraging DEVOPS and IAAS methodologies using configuration tools such as Ansible and backend languages and framework including Python and Shell scripting.o Automate installation and configuration of IBM Middleware products including WebSphere Application Server 8.0/8.5/9.0, MQ 8.0, WebSeal, IBM HTTP Server and B2B for each environment.o Automate the deployment of more than a hundred Java EE Applications for newly built environments using Ansible Custom Modules to reduce delay due to enable continuous delivery.o Automate configuring new IP address aliases using Ansible Custom Module framework.o Develop custom python code to install and configure IBM MQ product using Application Configuration Yaml files.o Write automation using python code to rotate standard log files at regular intervals for IBM MQ, HTTP Servers.o Leverage Bitbucket to version check-in and version Python code and Ansible Playbooks and share with the team.• Lead and provide technical direction and expertise to a project team.• Work closely with IAAS Mode Team to provide support to achieving the two-day provisioning of an environment.• Provide technical guidance to customers leveraging the IAAS code with any issues related to build and install.• Conduct twice a week code review meeting to review and discuss Code changes.• Perform Crucible Code Reviews for completed modules of the code.• Engage in weekly Sprint planning and agile software development meeting using JIRA.• Code Promotion and Code Deployment activities including conflict resolution.• Provide daily technical support for the renovation of the existing environments.o Provide support to troubleshoot any issues related to the middleware products including IBM WebSphere, MQ, HTTP Server, B2B and WebSeal.• Experience building robust test environments including but not limited to the followingo Build complex multi node and clustered middleware environments from ground up including installation and configuration of middleware products such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, MQ, WebSeal, B2B, HTTP Server and deploying over a hundred custom applications.o Install IBM WebSphere Application Server version 8.0/8.5 and 9.0 including fixpacks and IBM HTTP Server and Plugin version 8.0/9.0.o Create Deployment Manager and Application Server profiles and custom JVM arguments.o Configure WebSphere Resources such as JDBC, Data Sources, Messaging Queues, Virtual Hosts Aliases, Name Server Bindings and custom properties.o Enable Global Security and configuring with LDAP.o Install IBM MQ version 8.0 and configuring MQ resources such as Local, Alias and Remotes Queues, Channels and Listeners.o Install IBM WebSeal Servers instances and configuring resources such as Junctions, managed cookies/ JSession ID and Single Signoff including configuration with LDAP and Policy Server.• Hands-On Environment Infrastructure Build and Automation experience.
