Mainframe Programmer Location: RemoteDuration: 12 months Description: Job Description:8-10 Years' Experience of senior Mainframe Systems Programmer background is required.Infrastructure Engineer with a hands-on experience.Building robust Mainframe environmentsScripting and process Automation experience RequiredExtensive knowledge of Mainframe Systems methodology and frameworksThe position requires advance knowledge of configurating Development and Production environments comprised of the below listed components.5-10 years of z/OS Systems Programming experienceCICS TS for z/OSCICS WebservicesMQ for z/OSDB2 for z/OSControl-M for z/OSIBM System Automation for z/OSREXX Programmingz/OSMF – Working Knowledge of WorkflowsCandidate will be supporting various project teams and their mainframe related needs on a day-to-day basis.Candidate will be leveraging their skills to automate configuration processes on the mainframe using above toolset.Extensive knowledge of MQ SeriesExtensive SDLC experience with some development or Systems programming experienceAbility to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues.Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical)Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessionsCollaborate and interpret business and technical needsExcellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical)Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers (Critical)Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision (Critical)Strong analytical and documentation skillsExcellent time management ability.
