Summary About the Position: This position is with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Resource Management Directorate located in Washington, DC. This position will be filled on a permanent basis. Responsibilities Serves as a Management Analysis Officer reporting directly to the Chief, Program and Budget Division, Resource Management Directorate, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Manages program requirements, objectives, and metrics; and resolves conflicts among schedules, funding, and resourcing. Develops analytical and conceptual models for analysis of PROBE data for the purpose of qualitatively and qualitatively defining program problems and resulting implications. Specialized experience is defined as: Performs a range of evaluative and analytical duties in support of appropriations, for the purposes of budget formulation, program/funds control, program oversight and review and analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Budget Administration Data Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
