Microsoft Dynamics Solutions Architect (Hybrid)

A tech services organization in Washington, D.C. is currently seeking a new Microsoft Dynamics Solutions Architect for a promising opportunity with their team. In this role, the Microsoft Dynamics Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing technical solution designs and implementation plans and take full ownership of the Dynamics 365 solution. This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work 2 to 3 days onsite.

• Gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on client's architectural and business needs
• Analyze existing system architecture, develop/validate the as-is architecture
• Assess and understand the current roadmap, milestones, technologies, and conceptual solution options
• Collaborate with PM, Stakeholders, and Technical SMEs to evaluate how to transition core business functions to MS Dynamics platform
• Conduct proofs of concepts, develop recommendations including cost/benefit analysis
• Develop and present briefings to senior management / customer stakeholders
• Develop and recommend roadmaps, implementation strategies and high-level plans for transitioning business functions from legacy to modernized MS Dynamics solution
• Document technical risks and issues, and actively work to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks and technical debt
• Support the Agile ceremonies including the daily standup, user story development, grooming and prioritization, sprint planning, release planning and retrospectives
• Conduct code reviews for adherence to technical specifications, security policy, data standards, and for interoperability and scalability
• Perform other duties, as needed

• 15+ years of experience in Software Development
• Current experience in MS Dynamics, D365 platform, Azure Service Bus and Azure Cloud
• Experience with Power Apps Portal; Power Apps/Dynamics 365 Government Cloud; Power Automate; etc.
• Experience wit Azure Integration Services and Azure AD and Office 365
• Demonstrate experience in many technologies, such as: MS Dynamics Power Apps Portals; MS Azure DevSecOps; IBM FileNet; SharePoint development (.NET); etc.
• Demonstrate breadth and depth of IT experience to solve complex business problems that reduce cost, risk, and avoid technology obsolescence
• Experience in developing conceptual solutions, recommendations, briefings to management and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Master's Degree in IT and/or a related field
• Certifications of proficiency in Microsoft Azure
• Certified scrum master / PMP
