Middle and High School Art Teacher

Parkmont School is seeking a part-time art teacher for Grades 6-12 to join us for the 2025-2026 school year.

Parkmont is a small, progressive school in Northwest Washington, DC that works with a student group that is exceptionally diverse in learning style, heritage, and socio-economic status. Classes are small, experiential learning is highly valued, and relationships with teachers are a key to students' success. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and dynamic art teacher to join our talented faculty of educators!

Ideal candidate has at least a Bachelor's degree as well as experience teaching art and working with students needing individualized support and creative approaches to learning. Additional administrative and teaching work may be available depending on experience.
