Job Description – Personal Care Aide (Full-Time)

Haven Home Health Care – 9am–5pm, $18/hr

Haven Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable Full-Time Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our growing team. We are a client-focused home care agency dedicated to providing high-quality, respectful, and reliable assistance to individuals who need support with daily living. Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $18 per hour

Position Type: Full-Time

Location: In-home care (specific client location to be disclosed during interview) Fairfax area

Language: Must speak Urdu (Pakistan, Bengali)

About the Role

As a PCA with Haven Home Health Care, you will provide essential one-on-one care to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Your responsibilities will vary based on client needs and may include:

Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

Meal preparation and basic household tasks

Medication reminders (non-medical)

Providing companionship and emotional support

Monitoring and reporting any changes in client condition

Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

Working collaboratively with our care team to ensure high-quality service

What We’re Looking For

Haven Home Health Care is looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual, and professional

Compassionate and patient with a genuine interest in helping others

Able to work independently and follow care instructions

Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility

Able to maintain proper documentation and communicate effectively

Preferred (but not required):

PCA, HHA, or CNA certification

Previous home care or caregiving experience

CPR/First Aid certification

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
