Job Title: PeopleSoft FSCM Quality Analyst - Expert

Duration: 6 Months

Position Description: The Position is responsible for Quality Assurance of all modifications in the PeopleSoft FSCM module. The main task is to ensure module are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities.

Task & Deliverables: General Experience:
  • PeopleSoft FSCM Quality Assurance
  • Create test scripts, test cases, requirements and test scenarios in Jazz that aligns with WMATA QA process improvements. This benefits PeopleSoft QA to execute and document test results in Jazz; report defects and requirements traceability
  • Validate PeopleSoft FSCM STAT tickets in QA environments
  • Work with the customer to gather customer business needs/requirement and develop test cases, including decomposing requirements into shall statements for testing and linking requirements to test cases for each requirement.
  • Ensure functional and technical requirements are met through system testing, regression testing, performance testing, system interface testing, and security testing activities.
  • Trace requirements to test cases to ensure coverage for full system integration test.
  • Create and executed test scenarios, test scripts for multiple SIT iterations; provided test scenarios for UAT.
  • Participate as project team member to recommend, develop and implement improvements to existing test processes and standards related to quality management methodologies.
  • Install and create PeopleSoft Test Framework demo scripts to automate test scripts
  • Documentation
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to create Audit reports for Expense reclassification project
  • Create Daily defect reports and SIT reports for ePerformance and License & Certification projects
  • Training
  • Provide Jazz training to PeopleSoft Developers and Business users

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. A Master’s degree preferred
  • Team management experience.
  • Combination of technical and business expertise deploying large ERP software implementations for a transit industry.
  • Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of testing techniques.
  • Experience in development, deployment and enforcement of quality assurance procedures and standards in software testing.
  • Experience in all phases of Application Life cycle including systems analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Ability to scope, plan and schedule activities related to software quality assurance, testing and configuration management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written that display analytical capabilities

Specialized Experience:
  • Familiarity with PTF, Jazz, SharePoint, and PeopleTools.
  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM.
  • Familiarity with Automated Testing Tool (UTF).
  • Knowledge of Visio, PowerPoint and workflow tools is desired.
  • Hands on experience testing using Jazz Rational Quality Manager is a plus and is desired.
