Ping Engineer Department: Information Technology Office: New Carrollton, MD/Remote Location: New Carrollton, MD No Third Parties A U.S. Citizenship or a Green card is required by the government contract. Job Description: Strategic Technology Partners LLC (STP) has an opportunity for a Ping Engineer who will be responsible for building Ping identity and access management solutions in the cloud leveraging containerization technologies, along with planning, designing, Ping configurations in support of on-boarding applications. Create technical design documentation along with logical and physical architecture documentation. Provide technical consulting services regarding application integration with the Ping Solution. Support performance and capacity planning in support for current and future transaction volumes. Required Skills and Experience: - 5 to 7 years hands-on experience designing and implementing identity and Access management solutions in highly available environments (PingAccess, Ping Federate, PingDirectory, and PingID)
- Prior experience designing and implementing very large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (1400+ TPS)
- Experience implementing federation solutions with OAuth 2.0 or OIDC is highly desired
- Prior experience with performance/capacity and tuning of Ping IAM implementations is highly desired.
- Experience with PingID multi-factor Authentication is a plus.
- Experience with the RHEL operating system is required
- Experience analyzing and planning infrastructure updates and product upgrades
- Provide technical support from applications to assist troubleshooting Ping issues in the labs and production.
Other Skills and Experience: - Prior experience developing Java/J2EE software is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP/REST, WSDL, JSON)
- Prior experience designing, implementing, and supporting very large LDAP directories that support tens of millions of objects is highly desired.
- Experience designing and building Ping agentless OIDC solutions is a plus
- Prior experience with configuring SSL/TLS is a plus
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment, collaborating and cross-training team members is highly desired.
- Scripting skills are a plus
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education Requirement : A bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field preferred Security Requirement: Ability to obtain a Department of Treasury Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) is required for this position.
