The PTW Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing market trends, understanding contract types, assessing competitor positioning, and applying strategic pricing methodologies to enhance the company’s bid competitiveness. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in pricing strategy, government contract structures, and financial analysis and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Price to Win (PTW) Strategy Development
Conduct detailed Price to Win analyses to guide capture and proposal teams in developing competitive bid strategies
Analyze customer budgets, funding trends, and procurement history to estimate target price ranges
Identify and assess competitor pricing models, cost structures, and strategies to predict bid behaviors
Provide strategic recommendations on pricing, solution positioning, and value differentiators to enhance win probability
Pricing and Cost Analysis
Work closely with pricing and proposal teams to develop cost estimates, pricing scenarios, and should-cost analyses
Evaluate different contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.) and their impact on pricing strategies
Analyze labor categories, indirect rates, and cost structures to develop competitive pricing solutions
Leverage historical pricing data and market trends to refine pricing models and strategies
Competitive Intelligence and Market Research
Gather and analyze competitor pricing data, bid history, and past award trends using available intelligence tools and databases
Research government acquisition strategies and procurement methodologies to anticipate customer pricing expectations
Monitor industry trends, government funding priorities, and contract recompetes to adjust PTW strategies accordingly
Collaboration and Proposal Support
Work closely with capture managers, proposal teams, finance, and solution architects to align pricing strategy with technical and management solutions
Support Black Hat and competitive assessment sessions to refine bid positioning
Develop and present PTW analyses, pricing insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and capture teams
Assist with pricing reviews, cost-volume development, and pricing compliance in accordance with government regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.)

2+ years of experience in Price to Win, pricing analysis, or competitive intelligence within government contracting
Solid understanding of government contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, GWACs, etc.) and their pricing implications
Experience in cost analysis, price modeling, and competitive pricing strategies for federal contracts
Familiarity with government procurement processes, including FAR/DFARS regulations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present pricing insights and recommendations to leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and other financial analysis tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with competitive intelligence tools and databases (DACIS, GovWin, FPDS, USAspending, etc.)
Experience supporting large government bids (>$100M+ value)
Background in business development, capture management, or proposal pricing
