Prepares the SETS II monthly Financial Management Report (FMR) deliverable
Reviews and analyzes monthly financial data for input into the FMR
Collects financial data from Project Leads, including estimates at completion (EACs) for all program projects/tasks as input to the FMR
Submits/presents the FMR to the Government customer monthly
Receives and logs Government Request for Cost Estimates (GRFCEs) to sharepoint
Packages and submits cost estimates to the customer and keeps Work Order and CR Logs on sharepoint updated.
Provides leadership and guidance for the analysis of cost and planning efforts/reports
Provides guidance on staffing budgets across the program
Supports cost-loaded schedule development in coordination with the program’s Master Scheduler
Directs the preparation and presentation of project/program cost forecasts
Works closely with Program/Project Leads on labor/material spend plans and coordinates funding balance with customer
Reviews and tracks contract modifications, communicating them to the Program Leadership team and Project Leads, as applicable
Works closely with the Government customer on budget tracking
Works with program-assigned Financial Analysts to open charge codes and forecast program spending
Reviews cost-related deliverables, including project estimates and material purchase requests to ensure quality
Provides technical, administrative, and operational management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management
Experience managing program financials consisting of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract types.
Experience managing the client interface at senior levels of an organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to utilize discretion and independent judgment regarding customer matters including the ability to switch between priorities quickly to meet customer requirements
Ability to clearly and succinctly present executive level information to our stakeholders/customers
Completes special projects as required
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience exceeding 5 years leading and supporting project control functions and activities required
PMP highly desirable
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experience supporting a Design/Build/Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective customer service skills to anticipate and mitigate customer challenges
Proficiency in the use of MS Office suite, especially expert-level use of Excel
Experience with business and project strategies
Experience with utilizing Financial Management software tools, such as Oracle Financials
Effective administrative and organizational skills
Meticulous attention to detail and focus on quality
Extensive knowledge of company policies, processes, and procedures
Understanding of company strategic goals and how they align to the program’s business operations
SharePoint Online Administrator skills as a desirable
