Project Manager

Project Manager Seeking an exceptional Project Manager with strong communication skills and an outstanding track record of delivering and coordinating financial business applications programs. Additionally, this professional will play a significant role in coordinating our project roadmap and assisting with a technology strategy that underpins growth for the firms world-class credit investing platform. The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating complex financial application projects involving cross functional internal and external vendor teams. The candidate will build effective and productive working relationships with the technology delivery team and key business stakeholders to deliver on planned projects. The candidate will contribute to:

• Working with users, product managers, and technology teams in defining product roadmap and vendor product delivery schedules
• Working with other members of the group in developing roadmaps, project plans, and project artifacts to build consensus, signoff from stakeholders
• Coordination with agile deliver teams, scrum masters to track proper execution and update project plans, status reports accordingly
• Establishing and maintaining key relationships with business stakeholders and communicate with status updates
• Communicating with external vendors and Fund Administrators around project timelines and resources
• Work with project management teams to manage budgets, billing process, and produce budget to actuals
• Project documentation and communication to all teams

• Contribute to the delivery of successful business applications
• 3-5 years of relevant IT experience in Project Management
• Strong project planning, coordination, communication background
• Self-motivated and interested in understanding business processes, drive roadmap alignment to project delivery
• Prior experience in financial services preferred (especially credit & private equity)
• Experience working with multiple application and staffing vendors
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to proactively identify issues and work with delivery teams to mitigate risks
• Capable of driving vendors to deliver against goals in difficult situations (limited resources, tight timelines, small budgets)
• Understanding of fund and portfolio management business practices and processes, including knowledge of alternative asset fund raising, accounting practices and legal entity/partnership concepts highly desirable
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience working with international user community highly desirable

• Knowledge of project management tools Jira, Confluence, MS Project
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Proven ability to complete tasks independently and under pressure
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong business and communication skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Good Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Proficient with Microsoft Visio and/or Lucidchart
• Bachelors Degree required, major or emphasis in computing or quantitative discipline, or equivalent, preferred
• PMP or Agile/Scrum certifications
