Qualifications:Seeking an experience senior business analyst, who can step into the role of “Product Owner” for a Portfolio team that helps deliver complex Platform Products to business. With support from Portfolio and Product Managers, this person will manage Portfolio requirements from end-to-end:
  • Partner closely with Business Product Managers and Subject Matter Experts to document business needs in business product backlogs.
  • Map business needs into high-level capabilities, which are documented and rationalized in the Portfolio backlog.
  • Work closely with Architects and Technical teams to translate capabilities into design that can be shared with development teams.
  • Help with translation of design into features for development teams and provide value and risk information to facilitate development teams with prioritization.
  • Facilitate communications between Portfolio and Product Managers and development teams, including setting expectations for delivery timeline and coordinating business acceptance.
  • Assist Portfolio and Product Managers with reporting.
  • Help develop dashboards and other reporting tools to Portfolio sponsors, as well as Portfolio and Product Managers
  • Partner closely across Portfolio teams.
  • Identify opportunities for “cross-Portfolio” collaboration.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are consistent across portfolios.

Technical Skill:
  • Previous experience in an analyst role for technical product delivery.
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills: Can convey concepts across business and technical teams; and comfortable presenting to business and delivery analysts, as well as high-level stakeholders.
  • Experience working with complex products (e.g. Platform products such AWS, Azure, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Experience working as a Product Owner, Product Manager or ScrumMaster.
  • Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps or the Atlassian suite.
