Description We are offering a unique opportunity for a Property Administrator in the real estate and property industry based in Washington, District of Columbia. The role primarily involves assisting prospective residents with the leasing process, supporting marketing efforts to increase occupancy, and providing exceptional customer service in day-to-day operations. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Conduct tours of the property and available units on a regular basis Engage and interact with residents, addressing their needs and inquiries promptly Respond to inquiries from potential residents and provide them with relevant information Assist prospective residents through the leasing process, ensuring a smooth transition Support marketing initiatives aimed at increasing property occupancy Utilize accounting software systems like JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Microsoft Excel to manage property-related financials Handle correspondence and documentation related to property administration Manage insurance matters related to the property Utilize skills in commercial leasing and as a leasing consultant to enhance property management Answer inbound calls and inquiries, managing a multi-line phone system effectively. Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in drafting Correspondence and Documentation Knowledge of Insurance procedures Experience as a Leasing Consultant, preferably in Commercial Leasing Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls and Answering Inquiries Proficient in using Answering Multi-Line Phone System Ability to handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems Experience in the Real Estate & Property industry is preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field is preferred.
