RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Python Developer in Washington, DC.

Duties Include: Python Developer will lead and communicate project scoping, roadmap, architecture discussions with business stakeholders and development team Own the development and maintenance of the backend CnSightx codebase to include associated open-source product and CI/CD pipeline Build high-quality software in Go that integrates with 3rd party APIs Work with data sets, developing complex PostgreSQL queries that deliver expected outcomes Mentor and lead members of the development team to include leading and coordination of technical work efforts As a Python Developer, you will lead interactions with customers during new onboarding, support, requirements gathering, and troubleshooting activities Assist with building a development team by assessing, defining, and filling in core competencies and demonstrate experience with interviewing and assessing potential candidates Promote a metrics-based software development culture of quality, collaboration, rapid delivery

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or Software Engineering with experience as a well-rounded Principal-Level Go developer with 7+ years of experience working in technically complex environments, data warehouse, building REST APIs, microservices architecture, automated CI/CD tools and processes, as well as Linux, etc. Preferred Language is GO, however open to someone with equivalent level Python experience background who is open to learning and mastering GO In-depth understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, algorithms, data integrity, software composability, and concurrency 2+ years of enterprise experience writing advanced SQL queries and a willingness and ability to grow in this area High attention to detail and curious, with ability to logically (efficiently) troubleshoot technical issues and take guidance from others Highly collaborative team player with ability to build trust and relationships with stakeholders, holding other team members accountable for their best possible effort
