Riverside Research seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to provide direct Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). You will directly support the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) and T&E Assistant Program Manager (APM) for the AN/SPY-6 Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) program. All positions at Riverside Research require US CItizenship.

Job Responsibilities:•Provide support to the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) and T&E Assistant Program Manager (APM) for the AN/SPY-6 Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) program in support of PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors & Lasers Directorate. •Support a broad range of responsibilities including developing and updating requirements, tracking system performance issues and resolution, and coordinating deliverables related to scheduling, risk identification/mitigation, and requirements verification and validation.•Liaison support representing AN/SPY-6 to the DDG and Aegis and other stakeholder organizations. •Must have ability to understand and communicate effectively with Working Group leads, technical Subject Matter Experts, PAPMs, and APMs. •Provide technical leadership to AN/SPY-6 Software Working Group as well as Radar, Combat System and missile integration events at land-based test sites and design development. •Provide SE planning and execution and Science & Technology (S&T) technical transition support for software capability upgrades.•Provide technical evaluations for special projects, such as Spectrum Sharing Consortium addressing spectrum management and sharing between future 5G and Navy radars.

Required Skills:•Secret DoD Clearance •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or other related degree. •At least five years of demonstrated engineering and DoD Acquisition work experience supporting a DoD Program Office•Experience developing high quality program briefings for clients and senior leadership.•Demonstrated ability to multi-task, provide high quality services and products, while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints.•Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment with a wide variety of programmatic/technical challenges.•Excellent verbal/written communication skills. •Proficiency with MS Office suite. •Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.•Must be energetic, thoughtful, product-oriented, dependable, flexible, open-minded individual with an eagerness to learn with demonstrated strong work ethic. •Demonstrated forward thinking and proactive problem solving skills.

Desired Skills:•Experience evaluating Digital Signal Processing (DSP) functional performance with radar IQ data or spectral analysis experience •SPY radar missile communications experience
