As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will learn about our products so you can advise customers on their features. You will put away LOTS of stock each week, and you must feel comfortable approaching customers and talking to them to find our their needs.

We are a one-of-a-kind couples' boutique: elegant, sophisticated and discrete - words not usually associated with a shop in our industry.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and seasoned retail sales professional. Experience in boutique or lingerie retail sales is preferred.

Whether you're well-versed in our unique industry or excited to delve into adult toys, lingerie, massage oils and wellness - we want you. Full-time position, which may require scheduling, monitoring staff, opening or closing.

Starting salary $17.00 an hour to start, or salary commensurate with experience.

Part-time 15-20 hrs. Full-time 32-40 hrs.

We are located in the Ritchie Center behind the IHOP in the center of Rockville, near Marlo Furniture.

Duties

- Greet customers and assist them in finding products

- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately

- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits

- Utilize upselling techniques to increase sales revenue

- Maintain a tidy and well-stocked sales floor

- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences

Skills

- Proficiency in bilingual languages is a plus

- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively

- Experience in cash handling procedures

- Strong sales skills with a focus on customer service

- Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices

- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues

- Ability to conduct product demos effectively

- Familiarity with upselling techniques

- Understanding of retail math for transactions and inventory management

Monday: Closed

Tuesday: 11-8

Wednesday: 11-8

Thursday - Saturday: 11-9

Sunday: 12-6
