Rate of Pay: $60,000- 70,000 per annumReporting to the Director, Revenue the responsibilities and essential job functions include:Support Director of Revenue Management with analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast demand and set pricing strategiesUtilize revenue management tools and systems to optimize room rates and inventory allocationPrepare revenue reports and performance analysis for management reviewIdentify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost-saving initiativesParticipate in revenue meetings and contribute to discussions on pricing, distribution channels, and market positioningSupport in evaluation of group business to ensure maximization of revenues for both guest rooms and food & beverageMonitor booking pace for all market segments, providing recommendations on strategies to maximize revenuesRetrieve / prepare daily Revenue Management reportsIn collaboration with Sales and the Director of Revenue Management, develop and execute pricing strategies and rate parameters for all revenue streamsReview inventory daily, weekly, monthly to ensure appropriate oversell strategies are in place to maximize revenues and balance where neededEnsure daily communication between Reservations and Front Office regarding inventory, short-term sell strategies, Group/Convention arrivals, sell out strategiesResponsible to maintain current content and parity across all channels in conjunction with the Director, Revenue ManagementPlay an active role in the Strategic Planning, Marketing Plan, Budgeting and Forecast processStay current with industry trends and how they may impact demandDirect report for Reservation Supervisor including day to day Sales training, management of action plans, annual Goals and Development assessments, monthly and quarterly action step development, communication effortLiaise regularly with the Reservations Supervisor to ensure that contracted group blocks are open for sale via various booking channels, groups are being picked up and that potential attrition charges are communicatedVerify accuracy of Group blocks vs contract and manage availability to ensure maximum hotel RevPAR over contracted datesMaximize revenues by ensuring all Reservation, Front Desk & Fairmont Gold Agents are knowledgeable in room product and hotel servicesRecommend & monitor incentives for central reservationsMonitor pricing and availability across online booking channels to ensure rate parity, including prompt resolution of conflictsAttend pre-convention meetings and revenue management meetings as requiredOther duties as assigned by the Director of Revenue Management
