Now Hiring: Part-Time Evening Security Guards

Location: Silver Spring & Landover, MD

Shift Hours: Starting between 5:00 PM and 4:00 AM

Overview

Security One Source is seeking vigilant and reliable Part-Time Security Guards to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and the public during evening and overnight shifts. Applicants must be able to pass a background check required by the governing agency.

Duties

Enforce company and client security policies to prevent theft, loss, and property damage.

Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; administer basic First Aid or CPR if needed.

De-escalate conflicts and manage incidents with professionalism.

Inspect buildings and grounds for safety hazards or security breaches.

Cooperate with law enforcement and provide accurate incident documentation.

Maintain clear, timely logs of activities and observations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must have no criminal record and pass a background check.

Prior security experience or related field preferred.
