Senior Automation QA Engineer Job Description

This position is in our Washington, DC office and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to two days remote per week. Four-day work weeks are also an option for those applicants that are interested. RESPONSIBILITIES • Designs, documents and implements procedures and techniques that are consistent with departmental SQA Methodology for analyzing, testing, and evaluating the risk (software & business), accuracy, completeness, internal integrity/consistency, testability and overall quality of business systems and SDLC processes• Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports, application turnover documents and test schedules QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years experience with SQL
- 5+ years of software development QA experience
- Experience with testing/debugging tools such as Chrome Debugger, Postman, Fiddler, Kibana, or Firebase
- Proven ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product
- Proven ability to deliver on creating and automating tests in addition to providing manual test coverage for development teams
- Experience setting up automation frameworks such as selenium or cucumber and integrating them into a CI/CD pipeline from scratch
- Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners)
- Experience with manual.
- Experience with web app and API testing methodology and tools.
