Description:

Work Experience:Demonstrated 5 years of experience with server/system backup technologiesBackup Administration:Required: Experience with implementation, administration, and support of server backup technologies.Highly Desired: Experience with implementing Rubrik.Experience with IBM TS3500 tape library and IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM)Experience maintaining backup client software, including configuration and upgrades using automation (e.g. Puppet, SCCM, etc)Experience developing reports and following on-call procedures for reviewing backup logs to ensure successful backups on systemsAbility to troubleshoot backup failures on Windows and Linux servers to determine root cause and adjust configurations to compensateStorage Administration:Highly Desired: Experience with NetApp storage platform administration, including NetApp VTLExperience with configuring and troubleshooting CIFS and NFS shares off of NetApp storageExperience with SnapVault and SnapMirror technologies, including configuration and reportingExperience maintaining and upgrading NetApp OnTap to newer versionsCandidate must have:Highly Desired: Ability to work as a member of a team working on a variety of diverse projectsCreative problem solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task as workload demandsTechnical Skills:OS – Red Hat Enterprise Linux, WindowsBackup Technologies – Highly Desired: IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), Rubrik, IBM Tape LibraryStorage – NetApp, Amazon S3.
