SENIOR DEVELOPER - Java, Python, PerlALTA IT Services has a 12 month + contract opening for a senior developer with Java, Perl and/or Python experience to support Identity Access Management development tasks, maintenance activities and production support related to a high-profile IAM program – for a leading health insurance provider. Work remains COVID remote.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Working with architects and technical leads on software design, prototyping, and development
  • Developing software per architecture design and industry best practices
  • Unit & integration testing of developed code
  • Participating in code reviews
  • Documenting system changes
  • Mentoring more junior resources and enforcing software development best practices
  • Operational support and maintenance programming

Java/J2EEThis position requires a BS in computer science or equivalent degree, and 8+ years of professional software development experience using Enterprise Java or related technologies. Specific requirements include but are not limited to:
  • Minimum 8 years of Java experience in the development of Java/JEE enterprise applications using JEE, , Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, RESTful, AJAX, JSON, SQL, JUnit, and Maven. Experience with Frameworks including Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Security, Hibernate, MyBatis
  • Python or Perl custom scripting experience
  • Solid experience with the following technologies is a must HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks–Angular, React, jQuery
  • Experience with various security protocol or framework/tool would be a big plus – SSO, Oauth2, IBM WebSeal
  • Creative, motivated, focused, passionate, results-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to write efficient, clean, readable, and reliable code
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Independent, self-starter, & team player

  • Software & Tools:Java/JEE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, AngularJS, REST and SOAP Web Services, Junit and TestNG, Maven, Ant, XML, MyEclipse, Unix, PowerShell, Perl & Python

Nice to have
  • Knowledge of CyberArk CPM plugins development to support integration of privileged accounts used in applications.
  • WebSphere, AIX, LDAP, DB2, Cucumber, Selenium, Artifactory, Crucible, Agile Scrum, Spark, Scalar, Material Design

Hourly Rate: $70/hr. range. Benefits available for W2.
