Senior Dot Net Developer

We are looking for a Senior Dot Net Developer with the following skills for a long term contract position in Washington, DC. Prefer candidates local to DC/VA/MD area. This is a hybrid model, 2-3 day onsite. The .Net Developer position requires in-depth knowledge of the full range of Legacy and Emerging products within the Microsoft .NET Stack, including but not limited to .NET 1.1 through .NET 4.6, .NET CORE, Xamarin, MS SQL Server 2000 through MS SQL Server 2016, Azure SQL, Azure App Services and Windows Server 2000 through Windows Server 2016. Detailed responsibilities include:

• Work collaboratively with a variety of individuals to design and develop custom and COTS software applications.
• Work with project managers, users, and stakeholders in other District and Federal Agencies and others to design user centric web and mobile applications.
• Stays abreast of industry trends related to software development, UI/UX design, and identifies new tools and technologies to leverage for user-centric design
• Expertly documents code using internal comments, system diagrams, flow diagrams, and other external documents
• Provides technical knowledge and support to District agencies, personnel, and additional stakeholders
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• C# and .NET Programming Experience -11 Years

• Experience in development tools like Visual Studio, GitHub for source code Management – 11 Years

• Experience designing and development using IIS – 8 Years

• Database development experience (SQL/ORACLE/MongoDB) – 8 Years

• Experience Creating SQL queries – 8 Years

• Frontend GUI Development Experience – 6 Years

• Experience developing using HTML5, CSS3.0 -5 Years

• Experience developing using JavaScript, ECMA Script, jQuery, and Bootstrap – 5 Years

• Experience developing using .NET CORE 2.X, .NET CORE MVC 2.x -3 Years

• Experience developing using Web APIs - 5 Years

• Experience designing, developing, and testing custom software. – 8 Years

• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft office suite. – 11 Years

• Experience in Node JS, Express JS, React JS, - Highly desired 3 Years

• Cloud Experience in AWS, AZURE - Highly desired – 3 Years

• 11-15 yrs conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty

• 11-15 yrs preparing complex technical documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
