VEGA IS HIRING! Actively searching for Lead Healthcare EDI Analyst for a long-term project with our direct client in the metro DC area. This role is looking to interview and start the right person, right away!

This role is currently 100% remote but will be expected to work on a hybrid model once it is deemed safe to return to the office. Manager can be flexible with days for the right person. This role will be responsible for researching, writing requirements (including data mapping), and sharing information with various health plans.

Job Requirements:
  • 15+ Years Experience• Strong demonstrated analytical skills applied to business software solutions maintenance and/or development.• Knowledge of the software development standards and practices.• Demonstrated ability to find efficiencies and improve processes.• Proven ability to determine systemic process faults and improve overall process performance across organizations.• Understanding of claims adjudication, particularly in a health care environment• Understanding of health industry diagnosis, procedure and revenue codes and their application• Strong business analytical skills.• Strong process analysis skills• Strong process documentation skills
  • Experience with claims adjudication• Experience in a software application development environment in an analytical role• Bachelors (Health administration; business administration; software engineering or related degree required)
  • Senior level EDI Technical Analyst:
  • Extensive knowledge of the following EDI transactions: 837, 834, 270 and 271
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify production issues with EDI files payloads and Infrastructure
  • manually produce EDI files for certain testing purposes
  • Provide support for EDI software development activities.
  • Work with internal customer and Plans on issues related to 837Participate in all phases of system testing that involves generation or consumption of EDI files
  • View, acknowledge and identify potential data impacts to other business operations and systems based on understanding of EDI operations.
